Comwell welcomes new hotel manager at Comwell Klarskovgaard

Welcome to Denize!

The Danish-owned hotel chain Comwell Hotels welcomed Denize Scharff Stripp as the new Hotel Manager at Comwell Klarskovgaard on 1 March 2025. With a strong background in both the hotel industry and strategic sales, Denize is now in charge of strengthening the hotel's position in the market - both as an attractive destination for private as well as meeting and conference guests.

Experience from both the hotel industry and strategic sales

Denize Scharff Stripp has solid experience from the hotel and hospitality industry. She trained as a receptionist at Bella Sky and has subsequently been assistant reception manager at Comwell Køge Strand. She has also worked in Arp Hansen's revenue department and as sales manager at Bandholm Badehotel and Dyrehavsbakken. Most recently, she came from a position as Sales Director at Uniqa Group, where she was responsible for both branding and sales.

With the strong combination of hotel understanding and in-depth sales skills, Denize will contribute to making Comwell Klarskovgaard visible as an obvious choice for companies looking for unique meeting and conference facilities, as well as private guests who want a relaxing experience in scenic surroundings.

“I am very happy to welcome Denize back to Comwell. She brings a great understanding of operations and a strong commercial background that will be an asset to Comwell Klarskovgaard. I am confident that Denize - together with the rest of the team - will further develop the hotel and create even stronger guest experiences for both our B2B and B2C segments,” says CEO of Comwell Hotels, Peter Schelde.

High quality, great hospitality and fantastic dining experiences

Comwell Klarskovgaard is known for its unique, award-winning architecture and scenic surroundings in the middle of the forest and close to Korsør town and the Great Belt Bridge. The hotel has historically been a favorite among companies looking for inspiring meeting and conference facilities in undisturbed surroundings, but also has great potential as a destination for weekend stays, nature experiences and gastronomic getaways.

“I've been working at Comwell Klarskovgaard for a month now. It's fantastic, and the hotel has huge potential, which I'm looking forward to fully develop together with my talented team, who know the area inside out. High quality, good hospitality and fantastic dining experiences are the keywords for what we want to deliver to our guests, whether they come for business or pleasure,” says Denize Scharff Stripp, Hotel Manager at Comwell Klarskovgaard.
